I.Scope of application
The XCF series flotation cell is a self-aspirating pneumatic mechanical stirring flotation machine, serving as the suction cell for the KYF series flotation cells.It is widely applicable for separating minerals such as copper, lead, zinc, nickel, molybdenum, sulfur, iron, gold, bauxite, apatite and potash. It is suitable for roughing and scavenging operations in large and medium-scale mineral processing plants.
II.Working Principle
The XCF series flotation cell is driven by the driving device to rotate the hollow shaft and impeller. The slurry in the tank is sucked into the space between the lower impeller blades from the periphery through the tank bottom at the inner edge of the lower impeller blades. Meanwhile, the low-pressure air supplied from outside enters the air distributor in the lower impeller through the crossbeam, air regulating valve and hollow main shaft, and then enters the space between the lower impeller blades through the small holes around the air distributor. After the slurry and air are fully mixed in the space between the lower impeller blades, they are discharged from the outer edge of the lower impeller blades.
Due to the combined action of the impeller rotation, cover plate and central cylinder, a certain negative pressure is generated inside the upper impeller blades, which causes the middling froth and feed slurry to flow into the central cylinder through the middling pipe and feed pipe, enter the space between the upper impeller blades, and finally be discharged from the outer edge of the upper impeller blades. The slurry-air mixture discharged from the outer edge of the lower impeller blades, together with the middling and feed slurry discharged from the outer edge of the upper impeller blades, is stabilized and oriented by the stator installed around the impeller, and then enters the main slurry in the tank. The mineralized bubbles rise to the slurry surface to form a froth layer. Part of the slurry returns to the space between the lower impeller blades for recirculation, and the other part enters the next tank through the flow holes on the tank partition wall for further separation or is discharged as the final product.
III.Structure composition
It mainly consists of tank body, froth scraping mechanism, driving device, impeller, stator, cover plate, central cylinder, connecting pipe with vent holes, bearing body, hollow main shaft and air regulating valve.
