Details Introduction

I.Scope of application

It can be widely used for the separation of ferrous metals, non-ferrous metals and non-metallic minerals, and is suitable for roughing and scavenging operations in large and medium-sized mineral processing plants.

II.Working Principle

When the motor drives the main shaft to rotate the impeller, the slurry in the upper and lower impeller chambers is thrown to the periphery under the action of the upper and lower blades, generating centrifugal force and forming negative pressure zones in the upper and lower impeller chambers. Meanwhile, the slurry above the cover plate is sucked into the upper impeller chamber through the circulation holes on the cover plate, forming an upward slurry circulation. When the lower blades throw the slurry to the periphery, the slurry at the lower part replenishes to the center, thus forming a downward slurry circulation.

Air is sucked into the upper impeller chamber through the air suction pipe and central cylinder, mixes with the sucked slurry to form a large number of fine bubbles, which are uniformly dispersed in the tank after being stabilized by the cover plate, forming mineralized bubbles. The mineralized bubbles rise to the froth layer and are scraped out by the scraper to become froth products.

III.Structure composition

It mainly consists of tank body, froth scraping device, driving device, main shaft, impeller, cover plate and central cylinder. It can also be equipped with an electric (manual) slurry level control device to adjust the liquid level.

IV.Performance characteristics

(1) The impeller is equipped with backward-inclined double-sided blades, enabling dual circulation of slurry in the tank;

(2) Large clearance between the impeller and cover plate, large air suction volume and low energy consumption;

(3) Low peripheral speed of the impeller, long service life of wearing parts;

(4) Forward-inclined tank body with small dead corners and fast froth movement speed;

(5) Beneficial to the flotation of coarse-grained minerals.
