I.Scope of application

The XB series agitating tank (barrel) is a mechanical slurry agitating device for slurry preparation before flotation operation. It is designed to adjust the slurry concentration to meet the requirements of the flotation process; ensure sufficient contact between flotation reagents and the surface of mineral particles; regulate the pH value of slurry or the ionic composition of the liquid phase; and create necessary conditions for bubble generation.

The XB series agitating tank (barrel) is suitable for mixing and agitating slurry with a concentration no more than 30% and an ore density no more than 3.5 together with flotation reagents, or for reagent stirring alone. It can also be used for mixing and agitating in chemical, metallurgical, sewage treatment and other industries under corresponding working conditions.

II.Working Principle

During the operation of the XB series agitating tank (barrel), under the rotation of the impeller, the liquid flow in the tank forms turbulence and generates large and small circulation movements, thereby thoroughly mixing the slurry and reagents in the tank. The mixed suspension is discharged through the overflow port.

III.Structure composition

It consists of driving mechanism, vertical shaft, tank (barrel) body, bridge frame, circulation barrel, ore inlet pipe, impeller, overflow port and other components.
