Details Introduction

I.Scope of application

The XJK‑type flotation cell (also known as Type A flotation cell) can effectively upgrade low‑grade ore into high‑grade concentrate. It is widely used in the roughing, cleaning and reverse flotation of non‑ferrous metals such as copper, lead, zinc, nickel, molybdenum, gold and iron, as well as non‑metallic minerals including talc and fluorite. It delivers excellent separation performance especially for finely disseminated and complex ores.

II.Working Principle

The driving mechanism drives the main shaft and the impeller at its lower end to rotate. When the impeller rotates, it throws the slurry and air outward from the center, forming a negative pressure inside the impeller chamber and generating a suction effect that enables slurry circulation. The intense agitation of the impeller promotes the mixing of air, slurry and reagents, and imparts kinetic energy to them. As the mixture passes through the directional vanes, the tangential velocity is converted into radial velocity, generating local turbulence that further mixes air, slurry and reagents, and refines the bubbles. The slurry carrying a large number of bubbles leaves the impeller and directional vanes and enters the mineralization zone in the tank. After the valuable minerals are separated from the gangue, the mineralized bubbles rise to the froth zone, where they overflow spontaneously or are scraped out by the scraper as flotation concentrate.

III.Structure composition

It consists of tank body, driving mechanism, bearing body, main shaft, impeller, cover plate, ore discharge device, froth scraping device, feed pipe and other components.

IV.Performance characteristics
