I.Scope of application

The XJX Series Flotation Cell is a mechanically agitated self-aspirating flotation machine, mainly used for separating coal slime below 0.5 mm. It is also an effective equipment for processing iron ore, phosphate rock, lead and zinc ore. After being agitated by the double-eccentric inclined impeller, the slurry forms a three-dimensional circulation. The slurry is fed through the center of the draft tube, and the aerosol dosing method is adopted. The negative pressure generated by the rotating impeller self-aspirates air and reagents, which form mist-like bubbles to contact with coal particles. It is equipped with an automatic slurry level adjustment device, and an automatic control system is used to control the concentration, drying capacity, reagent dosage and slurry level.

II.Working Principle

When the impeller in the flotation tank rotates, the slurry filling the space between the stator and the impeller is thrown out under the action of centrifugal force, creating a negative pressure inside the impeller. Air and reagents are sucked in through the sleeve and the hollow shaft, and slurry is then drawn in through the circulation holes on the upper and lower cover plates of the impeller. Under the rotation of the impeller, the three phases (slurry, air and reagents) are continuously mixed and discharged outward, enabling the bubbles to be mineralized. The mineralized bubbles rise to the liquid surface under the action of the flow stabilizer, forming a froth layer. Unmineralized materials can be recirculated to re-enter the impeller, or flow to the next tank for further flotation.

III.Structure composition

It consists of flotation tank, middling box, driving mechanism, agitation mechanism, flow stabilizer, froth scraping mechanism and other components.

IV.Performance characteristics

Adopts central feeding method; equipped with a new-type middling box; provided with a false bottom.
