I.Scope of application
It is mainly used for separating coal slime below 0.5 mm, and it is also an effective equipment for iron ore, phosphate rock, lead ore and zinc ore.
II.Working Principle
During operation of the XJK series flotation cell, the rotating impeller throws out slurry to form negative pressure. Air from the sleeve and recirculated slurry sucked in through the circulation holes are drawn into the space formed by the straight blades at the upper part of the impeller for mixing. Feed slurry enters the slurry suction chamber from the center of the impeller bottom. Under the action of centrifugal force, all streams of slurry-air mixture are thrown outward along their respective conical surfaces.
Air sucked through the hollow shaft and slurry from the suction chamber are first mixed inside the impeller before being discharged. All ejected slurry-air mixtures collide and intensively blend at the impeller outlet, then flow obliquely downward to all sides through the stator guide vanes and the tank guide plates. The slurry is then deflected upward inside the tank, forming a W-shaped flow pattern. During movement, bubbles are continuously mineralized, rise steadily to the liquid surface, and form a froth layer.
III.Structure composition
Composed of flotation tank, middling box, driving mechanism, agitation mechanism, flow stabilizer, froth scraping mechanism and other components.
IV.Performance characteristics
The XJK Series Flotation Cell adopts mechanical agitation and a novel and unique slurry feeding method, featuring reasonable slurry flow pattern and large processing capacity; it has high aeration efficiency, a wide adjustable range and fast flotation speed; it boasts low energy and reagent consumption as well as reasonable structural parameters; it operates reliably and is convenient for operation and maintenance; the slurry level is controlled at a single point, which can be adjusted either automatically or manually.
