GW Series Cylindrical Filter
Purpose:
It is mainly used for the dehydration of non-ferrous metal and non-metal concentrates with fine filtration particle sizes and low moisture content requirements, as well as flotation clean coal, etc. It can also be used for solid-liquid separation of non-easily settled suspensions and is widely applied in mining, metallurgy, chemicals, papermaking, and other industries.
Operating Principle:
The drum external filtration filter mainly consists of components such as the drum body, feed tank, distribution head, agitator, and drive device. During operation, the pulp is fed into the feed tank, where it remains in suspension due to agitation by the agitator. As the drum rotates, due to the vacuum inside the vacuum filter, the liquid in the pulp passes through the filter cloth immersed on the outer cylindrical surface of the drum in the feed tank, and then is discharged into the filtrate tank (high-pressure tank, discharge tank) through the filtrate pipe and distribution head. The solid material is adsorbed onto the drum surface to form a filter cake. The filter cake is continuously dried by the cake formation zone and dewatering zone. As the drum continues to rotate, it moves to the cake scraping zone, where the vacuum inside the drum is replaced by compressed air to blow off the filter cake and clear the filter cloth pores.
Advantages:
GW series cylindrical filter is a standard type of filter that achieves stepless speed variation by adjusting the motor speed. It has advantages such as a simple structure, low price, ease of use, minimal maintenance, and few consumable parts.
