
Vacuum Permanent-magnet Filter
GYW series vacuum permanent-magnet filter is a drum-type external filtration filter that is fed from the top. It is primarily suitable for dewatering coarse-grained, strongly magnetic materials.
Operating Conditions:
The specific magnetization coefficient of solid particles in the pulp should not be less than 3000×10-6 cm³/g, with particle sizes ranging from 0.15 to 0.8 mm and a feed concentration of 40% to 60%.
The operation of GYW series vacuum permanent-magnet filter is completed through continuous actions including feeding, ore blowing, cake formation and dewatering, discharging, and cleaning. The vacuum permanent magnet filter primarily relies on an open magnetic circuit formed by the arrangement of permanent magnets inside the drum to serve as the filter plate. When magnetic material enters the feed box, the solid magnetic material is rapidly adsorbed onto the filter cloth of the drum in magnetic clusters due to magnetic force and the particles' own properties (at this point, compressed air can be used to assist in layering the minerals in the filter cake according to particle size). The overhead feeding enhances the layering effect of minerals in the filter cake, resulting in a thick and well-ventilated cake. As the drum rotates into the dewatering zone, residual moisture in the filter cake is drawn through the filter cloth, the filtration chamber, and two vacuum lines on the distribution head under vacuum pressure. Dewatered material is blown off in the discharging zone. After discharging, the filter cloth enters the cleaning zone, where cleaning is alternately performed using air blowing and water flushing. Compressed air forcibly blows water out from the inside of the drum, ensuring effective cleaning and preventing clogging of the filter cloth pores, thereby preparing good conditions for the next dewatering process.
