Principle Overview
Driven by an electric motor, the pump and suction pipe are filled with slurry before starting the pump. When the impeller rotates at high speed, energy is transferred to the slurry through the blades. At the same time, due to the centrifugal force, the slurry rapidly moves from the center of the impeller to the outer edge of the impeller, completing the conversion of mechanical energy to liquid energy. And through the diffusion at the outlet, the conversion of slurry kinetic energy and pressure energy is achieved. Create the pressure and head of the pump. At the same time, the above process creates a relative vacuum at the center of the impeller, allowing the slurry to continuously enter the pump chamber under the action of external pressure, completing the slurry transportation.
Equipment Features
Unlike metal pump casings, the rubber lining of XPA type rubber pump casings not only has excellent wear resistance, but also has good elasticity to absorb and buffer the impact force of slurry. Overcoming hardness with softness, achieving satisfactory anti-wear effect;
It has the advantages of smooth operation, energy saving, low noise, low cost, high efficiency, easy maintenance, and durability;
The maximum concentration of the conveyed slurry shall not exceed 60% by weight;
The temperature for transporting slurry is -40 ℃ to+70 ℃.
Scope of Use
Xinhai rubber pump is suitable for treating corrosive fluids containing abrasive slurry or solid materials, which exceeds the scope of application of metal and other types of pumps.
Metal beneficiation and smelting plant: In the grinding cycle, the hydraulic cyclone is used to feed the ore (including a stage classification cyclone), and the tailings, concentrate, and intermediate products are pumped, concentrated, and filtered to various slurry pumps for discharge.
Power plant: tail ash or slag transportation, coal slurry transportation.
