Heavy-duty plate feeders are widely used in industrial sectors such as mining, metallurgy, building materials, and coal. They are mainly used under silos and funnels with a certain bin pressure to convey various large-volume heavy materials over short distances to crushing, screening, and transportation equipment in a uniform and continuous manner, and are particularly suitable for applications below primary crushing. They are suitable for both coarse-grained and fine-grained materials. They can be installed horizontally or at an incline, with a maximum inclination angle of 12 degrees. Working principle: High-strength chains are used as traction components. Two chains are wound around a pair of drive sprockets at the head of the machine and a pair of tension wheels at the tail to form a closed loop. Overlapping, lightweight conveyor plates are mounted on each link of the two chains, forming a continuous material-carrying conveyor line. The weight of the equipment itself and the materials is supported by multiple rows of supporting wheels, chain supporting rollers, and slide beams installed on the machine body. The transmission system, consisting of a motor connected to a reducer, drives the conveying mechanism to operate at low speed. Materials discharged from the tail silo are transported along the conveyor line to the front of the machine for discharge, achieving the purpose of continuously and uniformly feeding the downstream working machinery.
