In terms of strength: there are low-strength ones with a strength of less than 39o megapascals (MPa), relativelylow-strength ones with a strength ranging from 390 to 785 MPa, ordinary-strength ones with a strength from 785 to 1225 MParelatively high-strength ones with a strength from 1225 to 1960 MPa, high-strength ones with a strength from 1960 to 3135MPa, and ultra-high-strength ones with a strength greater than 3135 MPa.

It is mainly applied to: spring steel wires, steel wire clasps, U-shaped nails, wires for elevators, welding electrodes, nailmanufacturing, wire mesh manufacturing, steel wires for the packaging and printing industries. The steel wires for coldupsetting are used for cold heading of rivets, screws, etc.
